Our Association has enthusiastically started a new, refreshed cycle of "Wall Therapy" sessions, as meetings are now held in person at the House of the Wall of Kindness, rather than online as they were during the lockdown period. The first experiential workshop took place on September 28, with guest speaker Ms. Eleftheria Kokkinis, a psychologist, social worker, and PhD from Democritus University of Thrace. The discussion focused on life's traps and how to deal with them. Additionally, on October 19, in collaboration with the humanitarian organization "KIDS SAVE LIVES," the Wall Therapy session titled "I wasn't afraid because I was trained!" took place, where children and teenagers received training in first aid. Another interactive experiential workshop for parents, titled "Who is really a good parent?" was held on November 24, led by Ms. Myrsini Ismyrli, a social worker and systemic psychotherapist.
In October, the first series of regular "Wall Therapy" sessions began, consisting of a total of 10 meetings under the title "Connecting with the Heart." This educational workshop aimed to strengthen the parental role, based on the principles of Attachment Parenting, and was coordinated by Ms. Symi Karakele, an educator, systemic counselor, and certified parenting consultant, as well as an Attached Educator at the Heart Parent, Attachment Parenting Hellas. Finally, starting on November 1, under the guidance of Mr. Petros Papadopoulos, a graduate of the Department of Folk and Traditional Music, a choir group for adults and teenagers began. In this group, participants learn traditional and contemporary songs. The meetings for this group will continue into 2025.
