For the 7th consecutive year, our annual initiative “Be a Godfather” was successfully completed. Thanks to the support of our friends and the volunteers of our Organization, we managed to collect the 500 gifts requested by women and children living in shelters due to abuse, victims of gender-based and domestic violence, child victims of trafficking, families in extreme financial hardship, and individuals with disabilities or chronic illnesses.
People from all over Greece and abroad became Godfathers of Kindness, came together, and once again spread the powerful message of love and solidarity.
This year, the initiative was carried out in collaboration with the following nine organizations:
• National Center for Social Solidarity of Thessaloniki
• Counseling Support Center for Women of the Municipality of Serres
• Branch of the Child Protection Service of Drama & Kavala
• Branch for Chronic Illnesses of Drama
• Social Services of the Municipalities of Drama, Nevrokopi, Prosotsani, and Paranesti.
