SPECIAL ACTIONS

“The Wall close to the students”, had as primary goal to provide equipment to the students with no access to distance learning. Our ambiton was to help every children so that they can have access to the so-called “distance learning’ and not be cut off from the school’s community and the educational process. The “Wall’s” appeal for collection and donation of tablets, laptops or desktops in good condition, encountered your immediate and generous correspondence and the outcome was moving. Result: A total of 20 computers (17 desktops and 3 netbooks) were gathered and shared to students of many ages!

100 face shields were made by our volunteers and delivered free of charge to our fellow citizens working in the transport and delivery services (courier, delivery) as a minimal sign of gratitude for their offer during those difficult times.

Request for financial support in order to purchase medical equipment. Result: the amount of 2.440,89 Euros was gathered and more specifically, the following were purchased and delivered: to the General Hospital of Drama - 2.500 surgical gloves - 2.500 short disposable shoe covers - 44 full-body medical protective suits - 1 tablet - 1 smart screen - 10 sterile surgical aprons - 100 surgical caps - 30 professional face shields to the Health Center of Drama - 1.000 surgical gloves to the Health Center of Prosotsani - 1.000 surgical gloves to the Health Center of Nevrokopi - 1.000 surgical gloves to the Health Center of Paranesti - 1.000 surgical gloves to the University General Hospital of Thessaloniki AHEPA - 1 Heat Block for the Microbiological Laboratory of the hospital, which serves as a tool for the identification process of SARS-CoV-2. to the University General Hospital of Alexandroupoli - 77 high protection masks for the Intensive Care Unit

Participation to the Christmas event of the Municipality of Drama “Dreamcity” (also known as Oniroupoli) with parallel events: “The quilt of love”, “Make candy with your heart” and “I write lyrics with my heart”

“See-live-create” a plan of action with visits and interventions to schools of Primary and Secondary Education of Drama aiming at promoting volunteering, selflessness and solidarity.

“For your rose”; Gathering of 2.856 books sent from all over Greece and therefore distribution to every school of Primary and Secondary Education in the city (Nursery schools, Primary schools, Junior High schools, Senior High schools), as well as to children of poor families.

Gathering and delivery of essential supplies and medication packed in 32 boxes for the fire victims of Attica.
