Once again, our Association proceeded to gather humanitarian aid for the earthquake-affected people in Turkey and Syria. Thanks to the immediate and moving response of our fellow citizens to the call of our Association, dozens of boxes of UHT food, clothing, personal hygiene products, bed linen and medical supplies were collected and handed over to the Municipality of Drama to be forwarded to the affected areas.

On the occasion of the 7th birthday of our Association on February 8 2023, we organized for the fourth time the original action "Share Love", which this year acquired a nationwide reach. More specifically, on the day of our Association's birthday, 1777 handmade bracelets, made of ecological materials with a wooden heart, and 1777 greeting cards, were distributed to guests and patients of a total of 15 elderly care units, psychiatric clinics and rehabilitation centers in Drama, Koropi, Thessaloniki, Komotini, Kavala, Karditsa, Veria, Larissa and Patras. Our main goal was to share love, to celebrate together and to demonstrate in practice and in a symbolic way that we support our fellow human beings who are in the specific units.

Hundreds of school bags and boxes with countless new other school supplies were collected and distributed to 1000 students of all ages from the Ark of the World, the Greek Children's Village in Filiro, the Orphanage for Girls of Thessaloniki "I Melissa", the Orphanage of Volos, the 5 Social Services of the Prefecture of Drama, the Child Protection Branch of Drama, the Child Protection Branch of Kavala, the Association of Friends of the Disabled in Soufli and the Region "Thread of Life", the KE.KO.P .A.P. Municipality of Soufli, the Association of Parents & Friends of Autistic People of the Prefecture of Evros &Saint Basil, the Social Structures of the Municipality of Rethymno and the Social Welfare Center of the South Aegean Region (Rhodes), with the aim of giving love and smiles at the start of the new school year.

Our action gained Pan-Hellenic scope thanks to the unprecedented and highly moving response of the world. A total of 300 children in need from the SOS Children's Villages of Thrace, Vari, Crete and Plagiario Thessaloniki, the Orphanage for Girls of Thessaloniki "Melissa", the Child Protection Branch of Kavala, the Association of Friends of the Disabled in Soufli and the Region "Thread of Life", the 5 Social Services of N. Drama, as well as the Child Protection Branch of Drama, received the Easter gift of their desire from the anonymous "Godfathers of Kindness".

As every year, this year our volunteers created our Easter collection with various handmade candles, which we made available to the public, so that through donations we achieved our main goal, that was to offer humanitarian work.

For the 6th birthday anniversary of our Association on February 8th, the volunteers symbolically prepared 6,000 hand-made white flowers and 6,000 cards that were distributed in cars, so the receivers would take them, smiling happily and feeling warmth. The purpose was that the residents would be motivated in order to offer flowers to their loved ones in turn, thus creating an endless chain of love and joy. The white color of the flowers is a symbol of purity, innocence and conveys a sense of peace, tranquility and hope, feelings that are important to spread in order to alleviate the difficulties of everyday life

During Christmas we help “differently” (in another way)! For the 4th consecutive year, the volunteers of our Association crafted our handmade Christmas collection “for all these you have in your heart”. By choosing a Christmas present from our collection, everyone can share smiles to their precious ones and at the same time make a donation to our Association, contributing to our humanitarian work.

In collaboration with the Cultural Association of Arkalochori and the warm participation of volunteers and our fellow human beings, we gathered 89 boxes of long-lasting food, necessity products, personal hygiene products, school supplies and bedding and we delivered them to the earthquake victims of the municipality of Heraklion in Crete. The response of people in our action was wide with donations from all over Greece and Cyprus, city associations and local businesses.
